In our house we have 2 people who have to eat gluten free because they have Celiac Disease. But as a family we ALL try to eat gluten free together (except for when I’m not with my family then I become a gluten maniac.) I’m always on the hunt for a delicious gluten free treat. Maybe you are too and that’s why I’m sharing a family favorite with you today. I LOVE peanut butter to a fault. I am content with just eating out of the container with a spoon. So this cookie is my go to when I’m craving cookies and peanut butter. I always hand a handful of chocolate chips but they are delicious without them too!
5 Ingredient Gluten Free Peanut Butter Cookie Recipe
1 cup CREAMY PEANUT BUTTER
1 cup SUGAR (I use brown but you can use whatever one you want)
1 tsp. BAKING SODA
HANDFUL OF CHOCOLATE CHIPS
SEA SALT (optional)
Mix the peanut butter, sugar, and egg together. Add baking soda. Stir in chocolate chips.
Use spoon to scoop the dough and roll in 1 inch balls.
Bake at 350 for 8 minutes. When they come out of the oven I sprinkle a little sea salt on the top of the cookie.
Enjoy with a tall glass of milk 🙂
