Her day bed used to be mine when I was a little girl! We spray painted it a bright white.
Of course we added some gold glitter accents in her gallery wall.
A year ago I saw a pottery barn duvet set that looked exactly like this (I tried to find the link but couldn’t). I didn’t want to fork out 3 bills for it so my sweet and talented mother sewed this bedspread for Avery. Isn’t it so cute? I love it. It really polishes up the room.
The dresser used to be mine when I was a little girl! In 30 years the dresser has been yellow, purple, sage green, and now it’s bright white with a black top. The knobs are from Rod Works and I spray painted them black. I love the contrast of the black and white. The shelf was a $3.00 score from the thrift store that I spray painted as well.
I made the black and white sign a week or so ago and it really ties the room together. I mean who doesn’t love a glittery gold heart? I just added this sign to my NEW ETSY SHOP!! I will be running a giveaway on my Instagram next week to celebrate the opening of my new etsy shop so if you aren’t FOLLOWING me yet you will want to so you can win a custom wooden sign!

Your daughter's room looks amazing! I love the bed and that it used to be yours. Great job on the room make over!! Kim
Thanks Kim! It was a labor of love 🙂
This is so fun! I would have loved this room when I was a kid! I always begged to paint my room bright pink, and my mom would only go for pastel. Ha! Love the gallery wall too!
