I can’t believe my baby turned 5 last week! Insert the tears! He is the sweetest little fireball I know. One of his current obsessions is garbage trucks and construction trucks. Before he started Kindergarten a few weeks ago we were outside on the driveway every Tuesday and Thursday morning waiting for the garbage truck to pass. Damon and the drivers have have even become cute friends. They have let him sit in the drivers seat to honk the horn and gave him a little garage truck toy. Talk about making this little boy’s dreams come true! He doesn’t want to watch the Disney channel, he wants to watch moving garbage trucks in action on YouTube. He kills me!! So it seemed like a given that he would get a construction birthday party for his 17 friends!!

A twist on the pudding dirt cup idea. I used chocolate ice cream in stead of pudding, crushed up oreos, and gummy worms. The kids LOVED this so much.

I had such a fun time coming up with the snacks for his party! I have done parties in the past where nothing really gets eaten. This party was not the case. Maybe it was because there was 20 children eating and the snacks were super kid friendly.

Be sure to check back tomorrow for the rest of the party details!
