Healthy Poolside Snacks

Swim season is in full FORCE around here! With blazing temps in the 100’s, we find ourselves at the pool almost every single day trying to cool down. I wish we could step outside and go swimming in the backyard but since we don’t have a pool we head down the street to the neighborhood pool.

My kids are super swimmers so they get HUNGRY fast! I try to have healthy snacks for them to munch on whenever they need a little energy boost. Here is a list of easy snacks that you can always find in our insulated beach bag:

  • Watermelon Slices and Frozen Grapes
  • Fruit Strips
  • Nuts: Cashews, Peanuts, and Pistachios
  • Chips, Salsa, and Individual cups of  Guacamole
  • Popcorn (in individual bags)
  • Fruit Ropes
  • Trio Bars
  • FROZEN Go-Gurts
  • Red Vines (okay, I know candy isn’t healthy but licorice a must!)
  • Graham Crackers (in individual bags)
  • Water, water, and more water
When I’m buying snacks for the pool I try really hard to find things already packaged separately or can be easily put into individual containers. Soggy food from wet fingers is no good!!
