Rainbow Cloud Donuts – make breakfast this St. Patrick’s Day COLORFUL and yummy all at the same time using just fruit loops and powdered donuts!
It’s that time again! The week of rainbows, pots of gold, wearing green and building little leprechaun traps is upon us. Though I have never made a great leprechaun trap I make up for it in the food department. Every year for St.Patrick’s Day I have always made rainbow pancakes for breakfast. My family loves them. However, I’m going to switch it up a little and make these darling rainbow cloud donuts for them. Serve it with a glass of milk and a side of fruit and bacon and you have a sweet and hearty breakfast for your family!
How to Make Rainbow Cloud Donuts
– a Bag of Powdered Donuts
– Pipe Cleaners
Take your pipe cleaners and cut them however long you want your rainbow to be. String your Fruit Loops through the pipe cleaners going in rainbow color order. (Maybe I’m the last person on the planet that didn’t think you could order cereal from AMAZON but you can! It’s more expensive than the grocery store but since I buy gluten free cereal in bulk it’s been a game changer for my family. Haha!) Or if you love seeing your kids create fun things, these would be a lot of fun to make with them for an after school snack on St. Patrick’s Day. When I made these to photograph for this post I kept thinking to myself that Damon would have loved to have made these with me. Hooray for lots of fun options!!

Twizzlers would be an edible change to pipe cleaners 😊
